How to extract PDF pages without changing the original

Extraction creates a separate copy of selected pages. Confirm that the recipient accepts a partial document.

Use actual file positions

Count from the first page, including covers and blank pages. This may differ from printed numbering. To extract one page, enter the same position as the first and last page.

Build the required interval

This version extracts one continuous interval at a time. For nonconsecutive sections, create separate extracts and merge them in the correct order. Name intermediate files clearly to prevent duplicates or missing pages.

Keep the context and signed originals

Identification, conditions or signatures may appear outside the selected pages. Review what the recipient needs before sending the extract. The original on your device is unchanged, but editing a signed PDF may invalidate its digital signature. Interactive features and embedded attachments may not follow the new copy.
